Eccentric and dramatic, Fire Tigers are aglow with passion and verve. They are outgoing, expressive and look on the bright side of things. They have the Tiger’s natural ability to lead others and are able to excite others simply with their own gift of enthusiasm. They can be funny and have great senses of humor. Tigers are powerful speakers and have the ability to command and persuade crowds through speech. Their own seemingly endless supply of energy can make them appear a bit dramatic, and it may make them more sensitive to cautious or down-to-earth approaches in others.

This type of Tiger finds it difficult to contain his enthusiasm and boundless energy. He is always ready for action and for going from one place to another. The only thing one can be sure of is that when he acts, he will be dramatic and influential. Fire makes him even more expressive than he already is. This Tiger never fails to impress anyone he is after or to transmit his electric vitality to any project he decides to undertake.

He seeks constantly to convert his nervous energy and inspirations into forceful action. At times, he is downright theatrical. Generous to the hilt, he will also display more leadership qualities than Tigers of the other elements. To him, everything he does is worthwhile and imperative, so don't try to tell him otherwise. He is a thoroughly optimistic soul and has no use for doomsday prophets.
Brilliantly commanding, imposing and open, the Fire Tiger is sensual and finds it hard ever to be impersonal about anything in his or her life.

What's the WORD!?

Don't you know that the secret to understanding a city and its people is to learn- what is the word of the street?

Then he went on to explain, in a mixture of English, Italian and hand gestures, that every city has single word that defines it, that defines most people who live there. If you could read people's thoughts as they were passing you on the streets of any given place, you should discover that most of them are thinking the same thought. What ever the majority through might be --- that is the word of the city. And if your personal word does not match the word of the city, then you don't really belong there.

"What's Rome's word?" I asked.

"SEX," he announced.

“But isn’t that a stereotype about Rome?”

“No.”

“But surely there are some people in Rome thinking about other than sex?”

Giulio insested: “No. All of them, all day, all they are thinking about is SEX.”

“Even over at the Vatican?”

“That’s different. The Vatican isn’t part of Rome. They have a different word over there. Their word is POWER..”

“You’d think it would be FAITH.”

“It’s POWER, “ he repeated. “Trust me. But the word in Rome--- it’s SEX.”
